Out Now - Include Non-ILR Learners and Aims in your Reports

Featured Image

A small release went out last weekend featuring some important changes to reports in PICSWeb. Based on your feedback, we have now made it possible to include non-ILR learners and aims in the ILR Learners and Learner ILR Aims reports. We have also made some improvements to the Qualification and Achievement Rates report.

To keep up with all changes to PICSWeb, and see what changes are coming soon, make sure to check our What's New in PICSWeb page.

ILR Learners Report

The Options tab for the ILR Learners report now contains an updated field for Funding Organisation, where you can add any non-ILR funding organisations to include. If you leave this field blank, only ILR funding organisations will be included.

More guidance on using this report can be found in our Online Help.

Learner ILR Aims Report

Similarly, the Options tab for the Learner ILR Aims report now contains an updated field for Aim Types, where you can add any non-ILR aims to include. Again, if you leave this field blank, only ILR aims will be included. The Funding Organisation field in the tab works in the same way as above to include aims for non-ILR learners in the report.

More guidance on using this report can be found in our Online Help.

Qualification and Achievement Rates Report

We have made several improvements to the PICSWeb QAR report, including bringing over many of the features that were available in the desktop report.

  • A new Table Type and Chart Type for Achievement Rate Forecast is available in the interactive QAR report. This will show the maximum and minimum possible achievement rates for the selection.

  • A new Report Type for Apprenticeship Component Aims has also been added. This allows you to report only on your learners' component aims, rather than the standard QAR, which reports on programme aims only.

  • Completion, Retention and Pass rates are now available in all report types, rather than just the Education and Training QARs as before. To view these in the table view, choose Achievement, Retention and Pass Rate from the Table Type menu. To view them in the chart view, use any of the Achievement, Retention and Pass RatesRetention Rate and Pass Rate options in the Chart Type menu.

  • New QAR reports will be displayed in the Interactive output format by default.

  • A new output of Outcome Grade has been added. For reports based on programme aims, this will be taken from the Main Aim grade.

  • You can now filter the report for both learners and aims by SiteContractUKPRN and ILR Export Status.
