An update on features transitioning to PICSWeb

We would like to inform all customers on our skills hosting platform that the following features will shortly be removed from our legacy applications, after which they will only be available on PICSWeb.
We had previously communicated that these transitions would take place in mid-December and mid-January, but we have instead pushed them back to to provide extra preparation time.

These changes do not affect locally installed customers or those on our DWP servers.

eApply

eApply was partially retired last year when we removed the configuration page. It will, however, be completely removed from our skills hosting platform at the end of January. A new and improved "Sign Up Forms" feature replaces eApply in PICSWeb. The new feature is explained in this free course and is covered in our online help.

CRM

Functions governed by our additional CRM licences, such as call logging, email tracking, opportunities, vacancies and applicants, will only be accessible on our skills hosting platform from within PICSWeb from 9th February 2021.

Additionally, when entering the organisations side of desktop PICS, users will be advised that this functionality is also available in PICSWeb. The CRM functions in PICSWeb are covered in both a free online video course and in our online help under applicant and employer tracking

Form Capture Manager

The form processing functions in Form Capture Manager will be removed from desktop PICS on our skills hosting platform from 9th February 2021. You will, however, still be able to access desktop Form Capture Manager to maintain the configuration of forms.

We would like to make it clear that all existing FCA forms can be managed in the PICSWeb Form Manager. This is a separate feature to form building and configuration in PICSWeb forms, which is still in beta development. Form management in PICSWeb is covered in both a free online video course and our online help.

Funding Calculator

The desktop funding calculator will be removed from desktop PICS for customers on our skills hosting platform from 13th April 2021. The replacement functions for this are already available in PICSWeb, covered in both a free online video course and our online help.
