Final Warning - Learner Management is Leaving Desktop PICS Next Week

We hope that by now you are using new and improved learner management functionality in PICSWeb, which offers much faster access and data entry.

As of June 22nd, hosted PICS customers will not be able to create new Learners using Desktop PICS.

Unsure if you are a hosted PICS customer or not?

• If you access PICS through our hosting portal at hosting.pellcomp.net, then you are a hosted customer.

• If you access PICS through a locally installed copy of the software, then you are not a hosted customer.

Instead, you can use the redesigned learner management in PICSWeb. One of the many improvements offered by this functionality is a wide range of learner processing actions, accessible from the new Actions menu in the learner record.

From here, you can change a learner's programme, put them on a break-in-learning, start their EPA, and more from a single click. Dedicated forms for each process will then help you record the necessary information to ensure valid tracking throughout the learner journey.
