WebForms are now available in PICSWeb

Following several months of development and feedback, the full WebForms functionality has been released. It is now possible for you to build forms, send them out for signing, process completed forms and import form data entirely within PICSWeb.

We consider this new system to be a vast improvement from the old Form Capture Application tools in desktop PICS. Below are just some of the new features developed for WebForms.

A completely redesigned form builder with an intuitive new interface, allowing you to drag and drop form fields directly onto your template file. Fields can then be moved, edited and resized easily within the template, both individually and in bulk.

All available data import fields shown in a searchable list while editing the form, along with a simple import tool to transfer any custom fields from your old FCA forms.

Full support for remote filling and signature capture, with signature ordering and email notifications. You can view the remote signature status for each form from PICSWeb with the option to send reminder emails as necessary.

A fully end-to-end system, with form design, form capture and form management all within PICSWeb. A smoother and more efficient workflow allows you to transition forms through submission, inspection, approval and the import into PICSWeb data with ease.

Alongside the release of the software, we have made several resources available online to help you make the most out of these new features.

Online Video Courses

Two courses are now available from our Course Directory to explain the new form management system:

  • Managing WebForms in PICSWeb - This paid course is made up of a series of training videos covering all aspects of WebForm use and two two-hour web sessions with a trainer. For a limited time we are offering the training videos for free to all currently licensed Form Capture users. To take advantage of this offer, simply Fill Out this Form.

PICSWeb Online Help

The Online Help database for WebForms is made up of two sections, reflecting the structure of PICSWeb:

The help database features step-by-step guides covering adding fields to a form, sending a form out for remote filling and signing, processing completed forms through the form workflow, and much more.
